Common issues with Vauxhall Vivaro brakes

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Vivaro and have been experiencing some issues with the brakes. The pedal feels soft and I have noticed some squeaking noises. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

Hi Ben, it sounds like you may have air trapped in your brake lines. This can cause a soft pedal and squeaking noises. I would recommend bleeding the brakes to remove the air. If the issue persists, it could be a faulty brake pad or caliper.

Ben, another potential cause could be worn brake pads. If you haven't replaced them in a while, it may be time for a change. Also, make sure the brake pads are installed correctly and are not loose. Loose brake pads can cause squeaking noises.

Hi Ben, I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Vivaro and it turned out to be a problem with the brake fluids. Make sure to check the fluid levels and top up if needed. Also, check for any leaks in the brake system.
