How often should I change the oil in a Vauxhall Grandland?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Grandland and I'm wondering how often I should change the oil. The owner's manual isn't very clear on this.

It is recommended to change the oil in your Vauxhall Grandland every 10,000 miles or at least once a year, whichever comes first.

If you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic or in extreme weather conditions, it's best to change the oil every 5,000 miles.

Don't forget to also check the oil level regularly and add more if needed to ensure your engine is properly lubricated.
