I recently purchased a Vauxhall Movano and have noticed some issues with the brakes. When I press down on the brake pedal, I hear a grinding noise and it feels like the brakes are not engaging properly. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
ReplyOne common issue with Vauxhall Movanos is a build-up of rust on the brake rotors. This can cause a grinding noise and decreased performance of the brakes. To fix this, you can try using a rust remover spray or sanding down the rusted areas.
Another possible cause could be a worn out brake pad. If the brake pad is too thin, it may not be able to properly grip the rotor and will make a grinding noise. In this case, the brake pads will need to be replaced.
