Common issues with Vauxhall Movano brakes

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Movano and have noticed some issues with the brakes. When I press down on the brake pedal, I hear a grinding noise and it feels like the brakes are not engaging properly. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

One common issue with Vauxhall Movanos is a build-up of rust on the brake rotors. This can cause a grinding noise and decreased performance of the brakes. To fix this, you can try using a rust remover spray or sanding down the rusted areas.

Another possible cause could be a worn out brake pad. If the brake pad is too thin, it may not be able to properly grip the rotor and will make a grinding noise. In this case, the brake pads will need to be replaced.

You should also check your brake fluid levels as low levels can cause decreased brake performance. If your brake fluid is low, you can top it up with the appropriate type of brake fluid for your Vauxhall Movano.
