To change the oil filter, you will first need to locate it. In the Vauxhall Insignia, the oil filter is usually located on the bottom side of the engine. It is a small cylindrical shaped object with a cap on top. Once you locate it, you will need to drain the old oil before removing the filter. I recommend using a drain pan to catch the oil and wearing gloves to avoid getting dirty. After draining the old oil, use an oil filter wrench to loosen and remove the old filter. Make sure to replace the rubber gasket along with the filter. Finally, install the new filter and refill the engine with fresh oil. If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out to me.
