First, check the coolant level and make sure it is at the recommended level. Low coolant can lead to overheating. Also, check for any leaks in the cooling system that may be causing coolant to escape.

Another common cause of overheating is a faulty thermostat. If your thermostat is stuck closed, it can prevent coolant from flowing properly and ultimately lead to overheating. Have it checked and replaced if necessary.

N

Check the condition of your radiator and make sure it is not clogged or damaged. A damaged radiator will not be able to effectively cool the engine and can cause overheating.

In some cases, overheating can be caused by a malfunctioning water pump. Have a mechanic inspect and replace the water pump if needed.

Make sure you are not overloading your vehicle with heavy cargo or towing beyond its capacity. This can put extra strain on the engine and lead to overheating.
