Whenever I try to start my Vauxhall Vivaro, the engine seems to struggle and takes a few attempts before finally starting. It has been happening more frequently lately, what could be the cause and how can I fix it?
ReplyThis could be due to a worn out starter motor or a weak battery. First, check the battery terminals for any corrosion and ensure they are tightly connected. If the issue persists, it is recommended to have your starter motor checked by a mechanic.
Another common issue could be a faulty camshaft position sensor. This can cause the engine to struggle when starting. It is best to have a diagnostic scan done to pinpoint the exact cause of the problem.
Make sure to also check the fuel pump and filter. If they are clogged or malfunctioning, it can lead to starting issues. It is recommended to have them inspected and replaced if necessary.
