How do I change the brake pads on a Vauxhall Grandland?

I've noticed that the brake pads on my Vauxhall Grandland are starting to wear out. Can anyone give me some advice on how to change them myself?

A

Changing brake pads is a relatively simple task, but it can be dangerous if not done properly. Make sure to wear gloves and safety glasses while working on your car.

T

Start by lifting the car and removing the wheel. Then, using a socket wrench, remove the caliper bolts and the old brake pads. Make sure to clean the caliper and rotor before installing the new pads.

E

When installing the new pads, make sure to push the caliper piston back in using a C-clamp or a brake piston tool. This will ensure that the pads are in the correct position and will prevent any damage to the brake system.
