How do I change the brakes on a Vauxhall Corsa?

I recently noticed that my brakes on my Vauxhall Corsa are starting to feel spongy and I am worried about driving. What steps do I need to take to change my brakes and ensure they are working properly?

D

First, you will need to gather the necessary tools and supplies for this task. You will need a jack, a lug wrench, brake pads, brake cleaner and a tire iron.

C

Next, make sure that your vehicle is safely elevated using a jack and support stands. Loosen the lug nuts and remove the tire.

J

Once the tire is removed, you will have access to the brake caliper. Use a C-clamp to compress the pistons and remove the caliper bolts.

E

Remove the old brake pads and clean the caliper with brake cleaner. Install the new brake pads and secure the caliper back in place.

A

Repeat this process for the other wheels and then test the brakes before driving. Remember to properly dispose of the old brake pads.
