How do I change the oil on a Vauxhall Corsa?

I just bought a second-hand Vauxhall Corsa and I want to make sure the oil is clean and fresh. How often should I change the oil and what type of oil should I use? Do I need to replace any filters as well? Thanks for your help!

Hi Samantha! Congrats on your new car. For a Vauxhall Corsa, it's recommended to change the oil every 10,000 miles or every year, whichever comes first. As for the type of oil, it's best to use a fully synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-30. Also, don't forget to replace the oil filter when changing the oil.

Hey Samantha, it's always a good idea to check your car's manual for specific recommendations on oil change intervals and types. But as a general rule, you should aim to change the oil every 7,500 miles or every 6 months. And for a Vauxhall Corsa, a semi-synthetic oil with a viscosity of 10W-40 would be suitable.

Hi Samantha, changing your oil regularly is essential to keep your car running smoothly. It's also important to use the right type of oil, so make sure to check your manual or consult a mechanic for the best recommendation. And don't forget to replace the oil filter too!
