Hi Alexandra, to check the engine oil level on your Vauxhall Insignia, first make sure your car is parked on a flat surface and the engine is turned off. Locate the dipstick, which is usually yellow or orange, and pull it out. Wipe it clean with a cloth, then reinsert it fully. When you pull it out again, the oil level should be between the min and max marks on the dipstick. If it is below the min mark, you will need to add more oil.

Hi Alexandra, the engine oil level can also be checked through the onboard computer of your Vauxhall Insignia. Press the Menu button on the steering wheel, select Vehicle Information, and then Oil Level to view the current oil level. If it is below 25%, you will need to top it up.
