How do I check the oil level of my Vauxhall Insignia?

I recently purchased a used Vauxhall Insignia and want to make sure the oil level is correct. Can you guide me through the process?

Hi Lisa, to check the oil level of your Vauxhall Insignia, start by parking the car on a level surface and wait for the engine to cool down. Locate the dipstick, which is usually indicated with a bright color handle and labelled 'Engine Oil'. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth. Reinsert the dipstick fully and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the maximum and minimum marks on the dipstick. If it is below the minimum mark, add the recommended oil and check again. I recommend checking your oil level every month or before long trips to ensure your engine is running smoothly.

Hi Lisa, checking the oil level of your Vauxhall Insignia is an important part of regular car maintenance. To do so, start by parking the car on a level surface and let the engine cool down. Look for the dipstick, usually with a yellow handle and labelled 'Engine Oil'. Remove the dipstick and wipe it clean. Reinsert the dipstick fully and take it out again. The oil level should be between the maximum and minimum marks. If it is below the minimum mark, add the recommended oil and check again. Remember to check your oil level regularly to keep your engine in good condition.
