How do I check the transmission fluid in my Vauxhall Zafira Life?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Zafira Life and I want to make sure that the transmission fluid is at the correct level. Can someone please walk me through the process of checking the transmission fluid and what I should be looking for?

First, park the car on a level surface and make sure the engine is off. Then, locate the transmission dipstick, which is typically labeled with a yellow handle. Pull out the dipstick and wipe it clean with a cloth. Reinsert the dipstick and pull it out again. Make sure that the fluid level is between the minimum and maximum marks. If the level is low, you can top it up with the recommended transmission fluid for your Vauxhall Zafira Life.

Another way to check the transmission fluid is to start the engine and let it run for a few minutes. Then, shift the gear from park to drive and back to park. Pull out the dipstick again and check the fluid level. If it is low, add the recommended fluid. Remember to check the level again after a few days of driving to ensure it is at the correct level.

If you notice any strange noises, vibrations or difficulty shifting gears, it could be a sign that the transmission fluid needs to be changed. It is recommended to change the transmission fluid every 30,000 miles or every 2 years, whichever comes first.
