How do I fix headlights that are not working on my Vauxhall Astra?

I recently noticed that the headlights on my Vauxhall Astra are not working properly. The high beams and parking lights are still functioning, but the main headlights seem to have an issue. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

First, check the headlight bulbs to see if they need to be replaced. If they look fine, it could be an issue with the headlight fuse or relay. If those are also working, it could be a problem with the wiring or the switch. It's best to take your car to a certified mechanic for a thorough inspection and repair.

Another possible cause could be a faulty headlight switch. You can try replacing it yourself, but make sure to purchase the correct part for your specific Astra model. It's also important to disconnect the battery before attempting any repairs to avoid electric shocks.

Sometimes, dirty or corroded connections can cause issues with the headlights. Try cleaning the connections and see if that solves the problem. If not, it could be a more serious electrical issue that requires professional help.
