First, try resetting the Engine Control Module by disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. If the check engine light persists, bring your car to a mechanic to have it professionally diagnosed.

Another possible solution is to replace the Engine Control Module with a new one. However, this can be quite expensive, so make sure to get a second opinion from a trusted mechanic before proceeding with this option.

If you have some experience with car repairs, you can also try troubleshooting the Engine Control Module yourself. Check for any loose wiring or connections and make sure all fuses related to the Engine Control Module are intact.
