How do I know if my Vauxhall Mokka needs an oil change?

I recently purchased a used Vauxhall Mokka and am not sure when the previous owner last changed the oil. How can I determine if it needs to be changed or not?

First, check the owner's manual for the recommended oil change intervals for your specific model and year of Vauxhall Mokka. If the previous owner did not keep records of the oil change, follow the recommended interval. If you are still unsure, get a quick oil analysis to determine the health of the current oil.

If it has been over a year since the last oil change or if you notice any of these signs: dark and dirty oil, low oil level, engine is running louder than usual, or a check engine light is on, it is time for an oil change.

Don't wait too long to change the oil in your Vauxhall Mokka, as it can lead to engine damage and costly repairs. Trust your gut and if you think it's time for an oil change, it probably is.
