How Do I Know If My Vauxhall Vivaro Needs New Brake Pads?

I'm not sure if my Vauxhall Vivaro needs new brake pads. The brakes feel a little spongy and I've noticed some squeaking noises when I press on the brake pedal. How can I tell if it's time to replace the brake pads?

Hi Liam, it's always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to your brakes. If you're experiencing spongy brakes and hearing squeaky noises, it's likely that your brake pads are worn out and need to be replaced.

Hey Liam, one way to check if your brake pads need to be replaced is to visually inspect them. If they look thinner than 1/4 inch, it's probably time for new brake pads.

Hi Liam, you can also pay attention to your brake pedal. If it feels soft and goes all the way to the floor when you press on it, that's a sign that your brake pads are worn and need to be replaced.
