First, make sure you have all the necessary tools and supplies, such as new oil, a wrench, and an oil filter. Then, locate the oil drain plug and loosen it with your wrench. Drain the old oil into a pan, and make sure to properly dispose of it. Next, remove the old oil filter and replace it with a new one. Finally, add the new oil to the correct level, using a funnel if needed. Check the oil levels with the dipstick and adjust as necessary.

In addition to the steps listed in the previous answer, it's important to also check your owner's manual for the exact type and amount of oil needed for your Vauxhall Crossland. You may also want to consider using a synthetic oil for longer lasting protection and performance. And don't forget to inspect your car for any leaks after changing the oil.

As a longtime Vauxhall Crossland owner, I've found it helpful to use a drain plug with a valve for easier and less messy oil changes. I also suggest warming up the engine a bit before draining the oil, as it will flow out easier. And always remember to properly tighten the oil drain plug and oil filter, as leaks can cause serious engine damage.
