How do I properly maintain my Vauxhall Mokka's brakes?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Mokka and I am unsure about how to properly maintain the brakes. Can someone give me advice on how often I need to check the brake pads and rotors, and when they need to be replaced?

Hi John, for proper brake maintenance on your Vauxhall Mokka, it is recommended to check the brake pads and rotors at least every 6 months or every 10,000 miles. If you notice any excessive wear or damage, it is best to replace them as soon as possible to avoid further damage.

Hey John, it's important to also pay attention to any unusual noises or vibrations when braking. This could be a sign of worn brake pads or warped rotors. If you experience any of these issues, it's best to get them checked by a mechanic as soon as possible.

Hi John, in addition to regular maintenance, be sure to avoid excessive braking and try to coast to a stop whenever possible. This can help prolong the life of your brake pads and rotors.
