How do I properly maintain the tires on my Vauxhall Astra?

I bought a Vauxhall Astra recently and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining the tires. Can you give me some tips on how often to check the tire pressure, how to rotate the tires, and when to replace them?

Checking your tire pressure should be done at least once a month, but it's best to check it before long trips as well. Properly inflated tires will improve your handling and fuel efficiency. As for rotating your tires, it's generally recommended to do so every 6,000 - 8,000 miles. This helps ensure even wear on all tires and extends their lifespan. As for when you should replace your tires, it's important to regularly check the tread depth and replace your tires when it reaches 3/32 of an inch.

Another tip for maintaining your tires is to regularly check for any wear or damage. If you notice any cracks, bulges, or punctures, it's important to get them checked and replaced if necessary. Additionally, make sure to keep your tires properly aligned and balanced to avoid uneven wear.

My personal advice would be to invest in good quality tires for your Vauxhall Astra. While they may be more expensive upfront, they will save you money in the long run as they will last longer and provide better performance. Also, make sure to have a professional inspect your tires regularly.
