I recently purchased a used Vauxhall Mokka and I noticed that the infotainment system is not working properly. The touch screen is unresponsive and the audio is distorted. Is there a way to reset the infotainment system to fix these issues?
ReplyHi Samantha, sorry to hear about the issues with your infotainment system. Have you tried restarting the system by holding down the power button for 10 seconds? If that doesn't work, I suggest disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. This should reset the system and hopefully fix the problems you're experiencing. Let me know if that works for you.
Hey Samantha, I had a similar issue with my Vauxhall Mokka and the dealership advised me to do a factory reset of the infotainment system. You can access this option by going to the settings menu and look for 'Backup & reset'. Keep in mind that this will erase all of your saved settings and data, so make sure to save anything important before doing the reset. Hope this helps.
Hi Samantha, another thing you can try is updating the software of your infotainment system. You can do this by connecting your car to a WiFi network and going to the settings menu to check for updates. If there are any available, make sure to install them and see if that improves the performance of the system.
