How do I reset the service indicator on my Vauxhall Insignia?

I recently serviced my Vauxhall Insignia and now the service indicator keeps showing up. How do I reset it without going to a dealership?

You can reset the service indicator yourself by following these steps. First, turn on your car's ignition but do not start the engine. Then, press and hold the trip odometer reset button. While holding the button, turn the key to the 'On' position. Continue holding the button until the service light flashes and then turns off. Release the button and turn off the ignition. Your service indicator should now be reset.

Another option is to use a diagnostic tool to reset the service indicator. You can find affordable diagnostic tools online and they usually come with instructions on how to use them. This may be a good investment if you plan on doing your own car maintenance.

If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, you can always bring your car to a trusted mechanic or dealership and they can reset the service indicator for you.
