I recently noticed that the tire pressure on my Vauxhall Grandland has been off. The warning light has been consistently on despite checking and adjusting the tire pressure. Is there a way to reset the tire pressure monitoring system?
ReplyTo reset the tire pressure monitoring system, first make sure all tires are properly inflated. Then, turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Locate the TPMS reset button under the steering wheel and press and hold it until the indicator light flashes three times. Your tire pressure monitoring system should now be reset and the warning light should turn off.
Another way to try and reset the tire pressure monitoring system is to disconnect the vehicle's battery for a few minutes and then reconnect it. Some drivers have found this to work when other methods have failed. Just be sure to follow proper safety precautions when disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
