How does the Lane Keep Assist feature in the Vauxhall Crossland work?

I'm looking into purchasing a Vauxhall Crossland and I'm curious about the Lane Keep Assist feature. How does it work and what are its limitations? Can it be disabled if needed?

The Lane Keep Assist feature in the Vauxhall Crossland works by using cameras to monitor the lane markings on the road. If it detects that you are drifting out of your lane, it will gently nudge the steering wheel to keep you in the lane. However, it is important to note that this feature is not meant to take control of the vehicle and should not be solely relied upon. It is always important to keep your hands on the steering wheel and be alert while driving.

The Lane Keep Assist feature can be disabled by pressing the LKA button on the dashboard. Keep in mind, this feature is designed to be a safety measure and should only be disabled if necessary.

I personally love the Lane Keep Assist feature in my own Vauxhall Crossland. It has kept me from drifting into adjacent lanes on multiple occasions when I was momentarily distracted. I highly recommend keeping it enabled for added safety while driving.
