How Does the Start/Stop System Work in a Vauxhall Corsa?

I recently bought a Vauxhall Corsa and noticed a button labeled 'Start/Stop'. Can you please explain how this system works and if it's worth using?

The Start/Stop system in the Vauxhall Corsa is designed to save fuel and reduce emissions. When you come to a stop, the engine will automatically switch off, and when you release the brake, it will start back up again.

It's definitely worth using the Start/Stop system if you are in heavy traffic or frequently come to a stop. However, if you are on a long drive, it's best to turn it off as it can cause additional wear and tear on the starter motor.

I personally love the Start/Stop system in my Vauxhall Corsa. It saves me money on gas and makes me feel like I'm doing my part for the environment.
