How often should I change the spark plugs on my Vauxhall Astra?

I have a 2015 Vauxhall Astra and I'm not sure when I should replace the spark plugs. Can you give me some advice on the frequency of spark plug changes for this model?

Hi Jennifer, it's recommended to change the spark plugs on your Vauxhall Astra every 30,000 miles or 3 years, whichever comes first. This will ensure optimal engine performance and fuel efficiency. However, if you notice any issues such as rough idling or difficulty starting the car, it may be time to change them sooner.

Jennifer, it's always better to be proactive when it comes to spark plug maintenance. If your Astra is approaching the 30,000 mile mark, it's a good idea to replace the spark plugs even if you haven't experienced any problems yet. This will prevent any potential issues and keep your car running smoothly.

As a general rule, it's best to follow the manufacturer's recommended maintenance schedule for your Vauxhall Astra. This will ensure that your car stays in top condition and prevent any costly repairs down the road. Jennifer, you can't go wrong with following the 30,000 mile/3 year guideline for spark plug changes.
