How often should I check my transmission fluid in my Vauxhall Crossland?

I purchased a Vauxhall Crossland about a year ago and I want to make sure I am properly maintaining it. When should I check the transmission fluid and how often should I change it?

It is recommended to check your transmission fluid every 50,000 miles or every 5 years, whichever comes first. However, if you notice any leaks or other issues with your transmission, it is important to check the fluid level more frequently.

It's always a good idea to check the transmission fluid whenever you are getting an oil change, just to be safe. As for when to change it, your owner's manual should have a recommended interval. Usually, it's around every 60,000 miles.

I would suggest checking your transmission fluid every 30,000 miles. This may seem excessive, but it is better to be safe than sorry. In terms of changing it, it's always best to follow the manufacturer's recommended interval.
