How often should I replace the brake pads on my Vauxhall Corsa?

I've had my Vauxhall Corsa for a few years now and I'm wondering at what point I should replace the brake pads. I drive mostly in the city and do a lot of stop-and-go traffic.

It is recommended to replace your brake pads every 50,000 miles or every 3-5 years, whichever comes first. However, if you notice any signs of wear or decreased braking performance, it's best to replace them sooner rather than later.

As a general rule, it's a good idea to get your brake pads checked every time you get an oil change. This will ensure that they are in good condition and will also help you stay on top of any necessary replacements.

Driving in the city can be tough on your brake pads, especially with all the stop-and-go traffic. Keep an eye out for any unusual vibrations or noises when braking, as this could be a sign that your brake pads need to be replaced.
