The first thing you should check is the battery and starter connections. Make sure they are clean and tight. If they are loose or corroded, tighten or clean them accordingly.

If the connections are fine, the next step is to check the starter motor itself. You can do this by connecting a multimeter to the starter's terminals and checking for continuity. If there is no continuity, then the starter motor is likely faulty and will need to be replaced.

Another potential issue could be a faulty ignition switch or neutral safety switch. These can cause intermittent starting problems. You may need to consult a mechanic to properly diagnose and replace these components.

In some cases, the starter relay may also be the culprit. You can test this by swapping it with a known working relay and seeing if the problem persists. If so, then the relay will need to be replaced.
