How to fix a faulty oil pump in a Vauxhall Corsa?

I have noticed a decrease in the oil pressure in my Vauxhall Corsa and suspect a faulty oil pump. Are there any steps I can take to fix this issue on my own?

If the oil level is good, then it is likely a problem with the oil pressure sensor. Have it checked by a mechanic and replaced if necessary.

In some cases, the oil pump itself may be faulty and require replacement. However, this is a more complex and costly repair, so it is best to have a professional handle it.

First, check the oil level and make sure it is at the recommended level. If the level is low, top it up with the recommended oil.
