I've noticed that my touch screen on my Vauxhall Insignia is not responding to my touch anymore. I've tried restarting the car and checking for any software updates, but it still doesn't work. What should I do?
ReplyFirst, try resetting the touch screen by holding down the power button for 10 seconds. If that doesn't work, try cleaning the screen with a microfiber cloth. If the issue persists, there may be a hardware problem and you should take it to a certified mechanic.
Make sure that you don't have any screen protectors or cases covering the touchscreen. Also, try calibrating the touch screen by going into the settings on the infotainment system. If none of these solutions work, it may be a faulty touch screen and you should bring it in for repairs.
I had a similar issue and found out that there was a software glitch. Try disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and then reconnecting it. This will reset the infotainment system and may resolve the issue. If not, it may be an issue with the wiring and you should have it checked by a mechanic.
