I recently changed the battery on my Vauxhall Insignia and now the digital dashboard is showing errors and is not functioning properly. Is there a way to reset it without going to a mechanic? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
ReplyHi Samantha, yes, there is a way to reset the digital dashboard on a Vauxhall Insignia. First, turn off the ignition and close all doors. Then, press and hold the trip odometer reset button while turning on the ignition. Keep holding the button until the display stops flashing and the new oil life percentage is displayed. This should reset the dashboard and clear any error codes. Hope this helps!
Hey Samantha, I had the same issue with my Vauxhall Insignia and I found out that disconnecting the negative battery terminal for 10 minutes can also reset the dashboard. Give it a try and see if it helps. Best of luck!
Hi Samantha, I would recommend getting a diagnostic tool to reset the dashboard. It may cost a bit upfront, but it will save you from future trips to the mechanic. Plus, you can use it for other car maintenance tasks. Just make sure to get one that is compatible with Vauxhall Insignia. Take care!
