How to reset the service light on a Vauxhall Astra?

The service light on my Vauxhall Astra has been on for a while now. Is there a way to reset it without taking it to the dealership? I want to avoid expensive service charges if possible.

After that, release the pedals and turn off the ignition. Wait a few seconds and start the car, the service light should now be reset.
