How to troubleshoot a Vauxhall Crossland that won't start?

I have a 2019 Vauxhall Crossland and it won't start. The engine doesn't even make a sound when I turn the key. I checked the battery and it seems to be okay. What could be the issue and how can I fix it?

Hi Michelle, there are a few things that could be causing your Vauxhall Crossland to not start. First, check your ignition switch and make sure it's not malfunctioning. You can also try jumpstarting your car to see if that helps. If not, it could be an issue with your starter motor or starter relay. I recommend taking it to a mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

Hi Michelle, another possible cause could be a faulty fuel pump. If the fuel pump is not functioning properly, it won't be able to deliver fuel to the engine, causing it not to start. You can check this by listening for a humming noise when you turn the key in the ignition. If you don't hear anything, it's likely that your fuel pump needs to be replaced.

Hi Michelle, one more thing to check is your spark plugs. If they are worn out or dirty, it can prevent the engine from starting. You can try cleaning or replacing them to see if that solves the issue. It's also a good idea to check your engine's compression to make sure it's not a deeper mechanical problem.
