How to troubleshoot air conditioning issues in a Vauxhall Zafira Life?

I recently purchased a Vauxhall Zafira Life and have been experiencing issues with the air conditioning. It doesn't seem to blow cold air and sometimes even stops working altogether. Any tips on how to troubleshoot and fix this issue?
