Another possible cause of an engine misfire could be a clogged fuel injector. You can try using a fuel system cleaner to clean the injectors, or have them professionally cleaned or replaced if needed.

Low fuel pressure can also lead to engine misfires. Check the fuel pressure and replace the fuel filter if needed. If the problem persists, it may be due to a faulty fuel pump.

Sometimes, an engine misfire can be caused by a vacuum leak. Check all of the vacuum hoses for cracks or leaks and replace if necessary. Additionally, a faulty EGR valve could also be causing the issue.
