My Vauxhall Astra keeps stalling while driving and I don't know what to do. It's a 2015 model with about 70,000 miles on it. I've had it checked by a mechanic, but they couldn't find anything wrong. What could be causing the stalling and how can I fix it?
ReplyIt could be a problem with the fuel system, such as a clogged fuel filter or a failing fuel pump. Have those components checked and replaced if necessary.
Another common cause of stalling is a faulty ignition coil. Have your mechanic check the coils and replace any that are malfunctioning.
Sometimes, a dirty or faulty mass airflow sensor can also cause engine stalling. Try cleaning or replacing it to see if that helps.
In my experience, stalling can also be caused by a failing crankshaft position sensor. Have it tested and replaced if needed.
