Is it normal for my Vauxhall Zafira Life to make a clicking noise when I turn the key?

I've noticed that whenever I try to start my Vauxhall Zafira Life, it makes a loud clicking noise. Is this normal or should I be concerned? I just recently purchased this car and don't have much experience with Vauxhall vehicles.

It's not uncommon for the Vauxhall Zafira Life to make a clicking noise when starting up, especially if it's a newer model. However, if the noise is continuous and lasts for more than a few seconds, it's best to have it checked by a mechanic.

I've had this issue with my Vauxhall Zafira Life before and it turned out to be a problem with the starter motor. It's best to take your car to a certified mechanic and have them inspect it.

In my experience, the clicking noise is usually caused by a weak battery. Make sure to have your battery checked and replaced if necessary.

I work at a Vauxhall dealership and this is a common question we get from customers. The clicking noise is caused by the starter motor engaging, but if it persists, it's best to bring it in for a check up.
