I recently bought a Vauxhall Insignia and I noticed there is an 'Eco' button on the dashboard. What does this button do and should I be using it regularly?

Using the Eco button may slightly decrease acceleration and power, so if you enjoy a sporty driving experience, you may prefer to leave it off. However, if you prioritize fuel efficiency and want to reduce your carbon footprint, then the Eco button is definitely worth using.
I’ve found that using the Eco button during city driving can make a significant difference in fuel consumption. It smooths out gear changes and reduces the need for frequent braking and accelerating, which can improve mileage. So, if you do a lot of stop-and-go driving, it's definitely worth using.
