What are the common brake issues in the Vauxhall Corsa?

I have been experiencing some problems with my Vauxhall Corsa's brakes lately. The brake pedal feels spongy and the car takes longer to stop. What could be causing this issue and what should I do to fix it?

It is possible that air has entered the brake lines, causing a decrease in brake fluid pressure. This issue can be resolved by bleeding the brakes and ensuring all air is removed from the system.

Another common cause for spongy brakes is worn brake pads or rotors. If you haven't replaced your brake pads in a while, it is recommended to do so as they could be the root of your problem.

Brake fluid leaks can also result in a spongy brake pedal. Check the brake lines and connections for any signs of leakage and have them repaired immediately.
