Recently, my Vauxhall Movano's engine has been running hotter than usual and I'm worried it might overheat. What could be causing this and is there anything I can do to prevent it?
ReplyFirstly, check your coolant levels and make sure they are at the recommended levels. If they are low, top up with a 50/50 mix of coolant and water.
Another possible cause could be a malfunctioning thermostat. If your engine temperature is fluctuating, it's a good idea to have the thermostat checked and replaced if necessary.
Make sure your radiator is free of any debris or build-up that could obstruct airflow. You can use a pressure washer or compressed air to clean out any dirt.
