What Causes Excessive Vibration in My Vauxhall Vivaro?

I recently noticed that my Vauxhall Vivaro is experiencing excessive vibrations while driving. It seems to be coming from the engine area and gets worse as I accelerate. Can anyone help diagnose the problem and recommend a solution?

Hi Mark, the most common cause of excessive vibration in a Vauxhall Vivaro is a worn out engine mount. This can cause the engine to shake, especially when accelerating. I suggest having a mechanic inspect the engine mounts and replace them if necessary.

Hi Mark, another possible cause could be unbalanced or worn out tires. If your tires are not balanced properly, it can cause vibrations at higher speeds. I recommend getting your tires inspected and balanced if needed. If the tires are worn out, it's also important to replace them as soon as possible.

Hi Mark, have you recently had any engine work done on your Vauxhall Vivaro? If so, it's possible that something was not properly tightened or installed, causing the excessive vibrations. I suggest taking your vehicle back to the mechanic who did the work to have them inspect for any potential issues.
