The most common cause of engine misfire in a Vauxhall Mokka is a faulty ignition coil. It's recommended to get the ignition coil replaced to fix the issue. In some cases, a simple tune-up can also resolve the issue. Make sure to check the spark plugs, fuel injectors and air filter as well.

Another possible cause of engine misfire is a clogged fuel filter. If the filter is clogged, the engine may not be getting enough fuel which can lead to misfiring. Check the fuel filter and replace if necessary.

Sometimes, low engine compression can also cause misfiring. If the compression is low, it's likely due to worn out piston rings or damaged valves. It's best to take the car to a mechanic for diagnosis and repair.
