What could be causing my Vauxhall Astra's engine to misfire?

I have a 2015 Vauxhall Astra and recently it has been misfiring while idling and during acceleration. I've checked the spark plugs and they seem to be in good condition. What other components could be causing this issue?

Misfires can be caused by a variety of issues such as a faulty ignition coil, clogged fuel filter, or a vacuum leak. Have you checked these components yet?

I had a similar issue with my Astra and it turned out to be a faulty oxygen sensor. I suggest getting your car's OBD codes checked to see if that could be the culprit.

In addition to what others have suggested, I would also recommend checking the fuel injectors and the timing of your engine. Both of these can also cause misfires.
