What could be causing my Vauxhall Corsa to have trouble starting?

I have a 2010 Vauxhall Corsa and recently, it has been having trouble starting. It cranks but it takes multiple attempts before it finally starts. I have recently replaced the battery and spark plugs, but the issue persists. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It sounds like you may have an issue with the fuel system. I recommend checking the fuel pump and fuel filter for any clogs or malfunctions. If those seem to be in working order, then it could be an issue with the ignition system. You may need to check the ignition coils or the starter motor.

Another potential cause for this issue could be a faulty crankshaft position sensor. This sensor is responsible for relaying the engine's position to the car's computer, which then adjusts the air-fuel mixture for starting. If the sensor is malfunctioning, it can cause starting issues. I would recommend having it checked and replaced if necessary.

I have experienced the same issue with my Vauxhall Corsa in the past, and it turned out to be a problem with the starter motor. I would recommend having it tested at a mechanic to see if it needs to be replaced.
