What is causing my Vauxhall Vivaro's fuel gauge to fluctuate?

I've noticed that my Vauxhall Vivaro's fuel gauge seems to jump around a lot, even when I'm driving on a flat road. What could be causing this issue and how can I fix it?

One possible cause of a fluctuating fuel gauge could be a faulty fuel level sensor. This is a common issue and can be easily fixed by replacing the sensor.

Another possible cause could be a loose or damaged fuel gauge wiring. Check the wiring and connections for any signs of damage and make sure they are securely connected.

If the fuel gauge only starts to fluctuate when your vehicle is at a low fuel level, it could be a sign that your fuel pump is starting to fail. It's important to address this issue as soon as possible to avoid being stranded without fuel.
