What is the best way to maintain my Vauxhall Vivaro's engine oil?

I have a Vauxhall Vivaro and I want to know the best way to maintain its engine oil. What oil should I use and how often should I change it? Can I use synthetic oil?

Hi Steve, it is recommended to use a fully synthetic oil for your Vauxhall Vivaro. This type of oil offers better protection and performance for your engine. As for how often to change it, it is generally recommended to change your engine oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. However, if you frequently drive in stop-and-go traffic or harsh conditions, it's a good idea to change it more frequently, around every 3,000 miles.

Hello Steve, I would suggest checking your owner's manual for the recommended oil type and change intervals for your specific Vauxhall Vivaro model. Some models may require a different type of oil or have different change intervals than others.

Hi Steve, just a reminder to always check your oil levels regularly and top up if needed. It's also important to not let your engine run low on oil as it can cause serious damage. So make sure to schedule regular oil changes and keep an eye on your oil levels in between.
