What is the difference between a Vauxhall Corsa and a Corsa CDTI?

I am looking to buy a used Vauxhall Corsa but I noticed there are different models, including the Corsa CDTI. Can anyone explain the differences between the two?

The difference between a Vauxhall Corsa and a Corsa CDTI is the type of engine. The Corsa CDTI has a diesel engine while the standard Corsa has a petrol engine. In terms of performance, the CDTI may have better fuel efficiency but it also produces more emissions. It ultimately depends on your personal preferences and driving needs.

I have owned both a Vauxhall Corsa and a Corsa CDTI and I can say that the CDTI has better torque and acceleration. However, the maintenance costs for a diesel engine can be higher than a petrol engine. It really comes down to your budget and the type of driving you do.

I recently researched this myself as I was also interested in buying a Vauxhall Corsa. From my findings, the CDTI model is typically more expensive than the standard Corsa but it also has a longer lifespan. So if you're looking for a long-term investment, the CDTI might be the better option.
