What is the difference between a Vauxhall Mokka and a Vauxhall Mokka X?

I'm interested in the Vauxhall Mokka but I noticed there is also a Mokka X version. What are the main technical differences between these two models?

The main difference between the Vauxhall Mokka and Mokka X is the platform they are built on. The Mokka X is based on the newer PSA Group's Common Modular Platform (CMP) while the regular Mokka is based on the older GM Gamma II platform.

Another major difference is the design of the front grille. The Mokka X has a more aggressive and sporty design compared to the regular Mokka. It also has a slightly higher ground clearance which gives it a more rugged look.

In terms of engine options, the Mokka X offers a wider range of choices including a diesel option, while the regular Mokka only comes with petrol engines. Additionally, the Mokka X has a more advanced infotainment system.
