What should I do if my Vauxhall Vivaro is making a strange noise?

I have a Vauxhall Vivaro and recently it has started making a strange noise when I accelerate. It sounds like it's coming from the engine. What could be causing this and how can I fix it?

It's possible that the noise is coming from a faulty exhaust manifold. This can be caused by cracks or leaks in the manifold. I would recommend taking your Vivaro to a trusted mechanic for a proper diagnosis and repair.

Another possibility is that the noise is coming from a malfunctioning belt or pulley in the engine. I would suggest checking the belts and pulleys for any signs of wear or damage. If necessary, have them replaced by a professional.

It's also important to check your oil levels and make sure they are at the recommended level. Low oil levels can cause excessive engine noise and potentially lead to engine damage. If your oil levels are low, top them up immediately.
