What type of oil should I use in my Vauxhall Insignia?

I just bought a used Vauxhall Insignia and I'm not sure what type of oil is best for it. Can someone give me some advice on which type of oil to use and how often I should change it?

For your Vauxhall Insignia, you should use a synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-30. As for how often you should change it, it is recommended to change your oil every 5,000 - 7,500 miles. However, if you frequently drive in harsh conditions or have an older car, you may want to change it more frequently.

As an Insignia owner myself, I can tell you that using a high quality oil is crucial for maintaining the performance and longevity of your car. I recommend using a fully synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-30 and changing it every 6,000 - 8,000 miles.

Stick to the manufacturer's recommended oil type and change it at the recommended mileage intervals. Using a lower quality oil or not changing it frequently enough can result in damage to your engine in the long run.
